OLD MAN'S CHILD
IN DEFIANCE OF EXISTENCE
Ah, sweet blasphemy. Norway's unsung Satanists Old Man's Child have returned with the same fire and brimstone approach that has made the trio such the extreme metal delight. While the nine track disc sounds like a lot of the other scary Euro metal currently flooding the market, lest we remember that Old Man's Child is a veteran outfit who has recently reformed after spending time in the lair of black metal's very own Dimmu Borgir. Adding this experience under its spiked belt has made IN DEFIANCE OF EXISTENCE'S demonic soundscape that much more foreboding, as the operatic style mixed with the sheer extreme metal shredding remains a potent concoction. Be prepared to come out bloody, bruised, and brainwashed, hailing the beast and succumbing to Beezelbulb's hand after a journey into one of black metal's darkest soulstealing troupes.
