SOME KIND OF HATE
SOME KIND OF HATE
BRIDGE NINE

Boston seems to be one of the toughest musical towns around, and hometown thugs Some Kind of Hate illicit the reputation to further perpetuate this notion, as the outfit's self titled, five-track powder keg of an album brings the violence straight from the pit and into your headphones. With an emblazoned and deliberate old school flavor, SKOH evokes the late '80s hardcore that took over CB's on a Sunday afternoon and throws in a dash of Northeastern disdain for good measure. Much like getting thrown on the ground and then receiving a boot in the head for good measure, SKOH's EP strikes hard and fast, bringing the values of back in the day to today's hardcore scene with fist flying and devoid of excess.
