BLOOD FROM STONE
BLOOD FROM STONE
SELF-RELEASED

Blood from Stone’s six-song sojourn is a haven for hooky hard rock, as this Queens, NY based outfit take pieces from Nirvana, Breaking Benjamin, and Staind to comprise its heavy-handed sound. The driving “Falling” has a Southern California punk rock vibe to it, while the moody “Breakdown” displays all of the nuances of a radio ready single a la Puddle of Mudd. Chugging along on “When I Needed” with the acumen of Life of Agony meeting Sugartooth, Blood from Stone has seemingly cut its rock ‘n’ roll teeth on the best of ‘90s rock radio, making their catchy tunes hard for a fan of no frills meat and potatoes rock to resist.
