TWO MINUTES HATE
STRONG AND ON
The Unsung Series put out by Thorp Records is an awesome concept, as it lets kids see where all of the bands that they adore today got their influences. The latest installment finds the recordings of Philadelphia's Two Minutes Hate, an outfit which featured label head Andy Thorp on vocals for six of the 12 tracks and whose hardcore, blue collar spirit embodies what the scene really should be about, giving a voice to the downtrodden, hope to the misled and above all, an outlet for aggression. For all those piling on for bands like H20 and the countless bands that play VFW halls across the country, this CD should be a history lesson and a chance to hear that your music was handed down to you from the elders.
