THE DEATH OF JASON BRODY
THE DEATH OF JASON BRODY
LOUD HEARTS

Solo artist Jason Brody decided to beef up his one man show into a full scale band presentation, thus recruiting bandmates and renaming his musical mission The Death of Jason Brody. Taking cues from Incubus, Matchbox Twenty, and Gin Blossoms, the blue-eyed soul and modern rock nuances found on "Siren Song" and "Call Off Your Dogs" and the sleepy shuffle of "Broken" are perfect for adult contemporary radio, while "Vanity" disperses a leftover '70s soft rock vibe. Skillfully transposing an intimate singer-songwriter feel into rock band format while providing a cohesive backdrop for the airy Jeff Buckley-esque melodies to soar from, this six-track affair is a fine exhibition of The Death of Jason Brody's distinct edge that comes from slugging it out in NYC.
