THE CHELSEA SMILES
THIRTY SIX HOURS LATER
Despite Todd Youth's sideman resume reading like a who's who of the Metro NYC underground, this time around he's with a project of his very own The Chelsea Smiles, a quartet which neatly ties all of Youth's vast musical experiences together. Edging towards the glam-punk portion of his musical journey, this 12-track barnburner was recorded in, you guessed it, a 36 hour session, and truly amplifies the energy and imminence of a live performance put down on record on such choice cuts as "Pillbox" originally done by The Joneses and "Built to Last". Sleazy, sweaty, sexy, and out and out dripping with rock 'n roll attitude, THIRTY SIX HOURS LATER appeals to any rock fan that enjoys the quickening of their pulse and their hair standing on end courtesy of a balls to the wall rock troupe.
