STALKERS
YESTERDAY IS NO TOMORROW
DOLLAR

NYC mod rockers Stalkers play the kind of rock 'n roll that usually gets more critiques of their hairstyles rather than musical merit. In fairness, this quintet do a fine job in not trying too hard while recreating a garage rock vibe with slight peeks under the Queen of England's dress circa 1966, but with bands like The Strokes still around and not really making waves, does anyone really care anymore? Regardless, if you look past their scalps, you'll hear a rock 'n roll band with a lot of influences before 1977 basking in all the glory on cuts like "Feeling Alright" and the strangely surf-inspired "How Can I Live Today" that should have everyone shaking it up at the sugar shack.
