Brick Bath returns with a punishing collection of 14 tracks of pure metal. This Southern California troupe has seen its share of ups and downs, yet they've managed to remain intact, and heavy to boot, through it all. Taking pages from the menacing guitar sounds of Sevendust and Stuck Mojo, Brick Bath's aural assault is chock full of chugging guitars, pummeling rhythms, and vocals that sound as if the singer gargles razors in the morning. While the metal that Brick Bath plays is by the book and has been done before, the sheer honesty in which it's delivered shows that metal is coarsing through this outfit's veins. Brick Bath have followed the power groove blueprint to perfection here, and in the process, have made a metal album that's heavy in all the right places.
